Following on from yesterday’s Grey Kids Rooms Colour Schemes post I’m spending this week focusing on grey accessories, furnishings and furniture to make beautiful kids spaces with either grey as the base colour or accent colour.

First up is this rather lovely Muuto grey felt storage basket designed by Mika Tolvanenen. I’ve got a thing about felt at the moment – my most recent felt purchase is a mustard yellow Souzani felt pouffe from Graham & Green. And I think I might soon be adding this storage basket to our felt family of homeware.

The designer created the basket to be unobtrusive but with a friendly appearance, it’s called the ‘Restore’ basket because the fabric is made from recycled PET bottles. So buy this and you’re helping save the planet to boot!

I’ve seen this grey storage basket on a couple of online stores, but I spied that the lovely Jelanie homeware store currently has it on sale, down to £56.10
